Offered is this charming RS Prussia china footed cream pitcher decorated with panels of peacock blue and buff.
This piece comes from RSP mold 627, pictured on pages 75 and 76 of Leland and Carol Marple’s reference book “R.S. Prussia: The Art Nouveau Years.”
The base of this pitcher resembles a purple flower with many petals.
The floral design consists of pink and white chrysanthemums.
The handle is elaborately sculpted.
The buff stripes separating the fields of blue are decorated with green vines of ivy.
Gold trim accents many elements of the design.
The cream pitcher stands about 4.25 inches high (11 cm).
Very good used condition. No chips or cracks. Gold trim shows slight wear.
