    Description

    Bought around 1989 at an RS Prussia auction, this unmarked butter dish was considered "truly rare."   The description from the auction is last photo.   It brought 0 at that time--even with the "slight chip."
    Dimensions:
    Plate is 7.5 inches in diameter
    Dome is four inches
    Colors: pale yellow, white lacy trim.   Dome -- teal blue, apricot, and wine red.
    the "slight chip" can be seen in photo 3; I have detected no other chips or cracks.
