    ONE PAIR BRIDLE ROSETTES HEART DECORATION IN SOLID CAST BRONZE 2-1/8 inch diameter
    This pair of solid cast bronze rosettes are cast via the ceramic shell lost wax casting system in the same manner that fine sculpture is cast.  This metal is not as brittle as brass.  The loop finding on the back is also cast bronze all integrated into the piece.  Unlike the stamped antique brass rosettes these rosettes should last for lifetimes.  Also he loops being cast will not rust as the iron ones do. I cast these in my art casting foundry and have initialed and dated them.  These are designs taken from antique harness rosettes.  The loop on the back will accept leather up to 3/4 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick so the leather in the browband can be nearly 1/4 of and inch thick and doubled.  These bronze rosettes are are a great gift for the collector yet made to be used and will take on a beautiful patina over the years.
