Condition:
Salvaged from Northeastern PA. It's made of solid Douglas Fir or pine and is completely painted white. No hardware. Considering that the door is well over 100 years old, it is in great, structural condition. It has the typical scrapes, scratches, and small nail holes that you would expect to find on an old, used door. One of the panels has a long crack (see 3rd photo). Although the crack looks bad, there is no looseness in the panel. The crack could be puttied prior to painting or staining. There are 2 corners where a small chuck of wood broke off (see last 2 photos).However, the door has no warp, rot, broken or cracked joints, or any serious flaws. Once a door is sanded for a new coat of paint, most of the cosmetic blemishes would be removed. What remains will be covered by paint or stain, and only appear as a "character mark."
