Salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The door is made of either solid Heartpine or Cypress. It is unusually heavy for it's size. No hardware included. The door's width is 1/4" wider at the top than at the bottom. This is due to a small gap between the top rail and lock stile (see last photo). The gap is easily closed with some glue and pressure. It could be further secured with a couple of dowels. Considering that the door is over 100 years old, it's in good shape. It has nicks, scrapes, and scratches. However, after some sanding and filling with wood putty, most of the cosmetic blemishes will be removed, and once stained or painted, they will either be invisible or barely noticeable. The door is strong, sturdy, and ready for another lifetime of service.The door is set up to swing inwardly towards the right. However, we can modify either to swing in the opposite direction.
